Marketing & Business Development Officer

Role purpose

Turn market information into qualified commercial opportunities.

The officer will support AKRIVA's market-development activities by researching prospective buyers, maintaining structured prospect records, supporting outreach, following up commercial conversations and producing useful market reports for management.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective buyers, processors, wholesalers, retailers, distributors and institutional customers.
• Build and maintain accurate prospect and buyer records.
• Support professional outreach by email, telephone and approved business channels.
• Gather buyer requirements including product specifications, volumes, packaging, delivery expectations and supplier-onboarding requirements.
• Track enquiries, follow-ups, meetings, next actions and pipeline status.
• Prepare concise weekly market-development and sales activity reports.
• Support development of buyer presentations, proposals and commercial materials.
• Conduct basic competitor, pricing and market intelligence research.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate company records.
• Carry out other reasonable commercial-development duties within the role.
